HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT OF INTENT

 

C-Plan Telecommunications Ltd based in West Lothian, Scotland, is a privately owned Company that provides design and installation services to the telecommunications sector.

Through this H&S Policy, the Senior Directors of C-Plan Telecommunications Ltd commit to and are responsible for providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and/or ill health by,

• Ensuring so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all our employees,

• We will provide a framework/structure for continual improvement of the Health & Safety (IMS) Management System, ensure employee consultation, communication, and participation of workers,

• Ensure the provision of such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of our employees;

• Ensure the provision and maintenance of plant and systems of work that are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe and without risks to health,

• Eliminating hazards and reducing risks through risk assessment, the hierarchy of controls and best practice,

• C-Plan will ensure that any place of work under the employer’s control, the maintenance of it in a condition that is safe and without risks to health and the provision and maintenance of means of access to and egress from it that are safe and without such risks,

• A visible management commitment to high standards of health and safety achieved through monitoring performance and the continuous improvement of the health and safety culture throughout the company,

• Providing an occupational health service for direct employees, employee assistance programme,

• Ensuring access to competent advice, and be able to secure compliance with our statutory duties.

This policy provides the framework for setting our H&S objectives. The Company’s H&S policy and objectives are set, reviewed, and approved by Senior Directors via our annual (as a minimum) management review meetings. This policy is available to interested parties on request, where appropriate.
