Minor Works Blockage Crews

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Minor works - blockage crews. The main responsibility is to visit and clear all types of blockages on the Openreach and Virgin Media network. The role includes working outdoors, clearing blockages on the underground network, we will also be required to build chambers & do overlays on the network.

Qualifications

Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred
Ability to perform physical work in an outdoor environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to understand technical drawings and follow work instructions and procedures
Full and clean UK driving license
Cscs or Eusr card, NRSWA O1 SLG,
SA006 Safe working in Civils,
Q019 Core Drilling,
Q020 duct blockage
Q021 duct laying
K008 hand rodding on UG network
SA002 - Safety Underground

OTHER

1. Full Turnkey Civils Contractor. (Providing supervised digging gangs, HIAB's & reinstatement resource)
2. Experienced Labour Only Civils Crews required
• Civils infrastructure experience within the telecoms sector is essential.
• Teams must have valid and relevant Street works and other necessary accreditations.
• Openreach PIA Accreditations would be advantageous.
